When J Herbin, the oldest name in inks in the world produces a line to celebrate their anniversary, you know it will be special.

The dark red is a reminder of the historic Herbin logo and the sealing wax which initially allowed the formation of the country. And probably more than a few glasses of red wine. Like the other 1670 edition inks, this also has gold flecks to produce something unique.

The extremely fine particles in this ink are safe for fountain pens (most pigmented inks are not), but require the bottle to be shaken before filling your pen. Use good quality ink resistant papers for the best results.
