Platinum’s Classic ink collection features traditional iron gall formulas with modern improvements to result in exciting and beautiful features. The inks are permanent, archival and waterproof with interesting shading and colour changing properties. The iron in the ink will oxidise and rise to the surface as the ink dries, resulting in subtle colour changes. The modern iron gall inks are not as corrosive as the gall inks of years ago, but it is still recommended to clean your pen monthly or use these inks with less valuable pens.
