These pearlescent colours are handcrafted in Germany and dissolve with water and a brush, just like traditional watercolors. The new formulation, developed with artists and calligraphers, is easier to dissolve and is based on special purified all-natural gum arabic and modern pearlescent and iridescent pigments. Only selected raw materials of the highest quality are used. Because of the special manufacturing process, the colour cakes get their characteristic and individual wavy surface.

They are lightfast, pigment-rich and can adhere to a variety of surfaces including paper, wood, cardboard, clay and stone. They work well with brushes, dip pens or glass pens; simply brush the color onto a nib to use it as calligraphy ink. Finetec is an excellent choice for professionals or anyone wanting to ensure their work withstands the test of time - and light. 

There are no limitations imposed on your imagination and creativity. The colours can be mixed with each other as well as with other paint media. The pearlescent colours show their intense brilliance and unique luster on all surfaces – even wood and stone.

Individual pans are designed to fit in the Finetec tin and can be replaced individually.
