There are only a few writing instruments which have been successful in the market for decades without big changes. One of them is of course the Kaweco Sport, since 1935.

A compact pen, just 105mm with the cap on, but a very writeable 135mm with the cap posted. The pen takes one standard international cartridge, and can be used with the Kaweco squeeze adapter.  You can add a removable clip - leave it off for jeans pockets, or on for shirts.
