Platinum's Pigment ink is quick drying and water resistent, The ultra fine pigment particles improve the ink's water-resistance and light stability to deliver excellent archival quality.  It's a great ink for artwork as well as important documents, and suitable for fountain pens. 

Pigmented “carbon ink” was initially released by Platinum Pen in May 2001. The ink is known for having one of the most intense black colors even today.
